The goal of our program is to provide an opportunity for preschool children activities to express themselves creatively in different situations and become active participants in their own development and according to individual abilities, through stimulating environment and a variety of educational activities.
Our task is to develop the ability in children to express their capabilities and talents and thereby contribute to their development of self-confidence. Program for children encourages a desire for research and the creation of new knowledge, channeling their natural curiosity, improving speech and communication skills, and developing the ability to solve problems through their own activity and through interaction with peers and adults.
Within Magnolia daycare children have the opportunity to ask questions about anything that concerns them in an environment which fosters an atmosphere of learning through a variety of activities, meetings with experts from various fields and visits to numerous cultural institutions, which will all allow them to expand their knowledge. Activities that take place within the daycare are partly in English so that children could be exposed to a foreign language from an early age and to take advantage of this period to master the basics of a foreign language. Our goal is to influence the increasing ability of children to learn foreign languages in the future.
The program has been designed to help children in learning in all areas of child development:
- Sense-mobility – as development of fine and large motor skills and coordination
- Cognitive – as encouraging learning and mastering skills
- Socio-emotional – as interaction with the environment, peers and teachers
- Speech and communication – as enhancing voice capabilities and communication skills.
We further help children develop by improving their creative skills and interests through various activities and organization of the educational environment and through cooperation with the local community which includes visits to museums, theaters, sports centers and other centers of activities appropriate for children.
Throughout the year, teachers monitor and record the progress of the development of children, and also there will be two terms (in November and April) when every parent will have an opportunity for an individual interview with their child’s teacher to get an insight into its progress as well as detailed information about what needs to be improved / encouraged. Also, whenever this is needed, the parent will have the opportunity during the year to communicate with teachers and other professional associates outside these terms.
